Good progress on the foundations today.  It’s even beginning to look a little like a real house with rooms (just a little).  



A small complication arose with the foundations in the existing wall, which it turns out are slightly higher than anticipated in the plans.  The bottom line was that, in order to keep the new living room floor the same level as the rest of the building, the insulation layer will have to be slightly thinner than specified (but still within regs so not a major problem).
