We now have a living room floor! The blocks went in between the beams today so that we can now walk across the space without getting muddy.  It took the builders about 40 minutes to place the blocks, it was almost done by the time we left for school.



A load of red bricks appeared on the drive while I was out at work which I assume are for the retaining wall at the rear of the house.

We are all getting quite good at hopping over the low wall from one wobbly plank to another in order to reach the lawn.  Doing it with two buckets full of water is another matter.  All the plants which were relocated just before the work began are still alive and being watered twice a day.  The promised rain over the weekend didn’t appear.
