The new floor beams arrived today and were duly installed above the kitchen area.  Hopefully the living room should be done tomorrow.

Apparently, the upstairs floor in the existing building slopes downwards towards the front of the house to the extent of about 30mm.  It will require some jiggery-pokery to make it work with the new floor so that we don’t have to have a small step anywhere upstairs.  We have every faith that Andrew will figure something out.
