Well, all of a sudden there’s so much to report.

First, the broadband gear arrived yesterday so we’re now officially (permanently) on-line.

Today, a nice man came to replace our old TV aerial (which was attached to an external wall that is soon to become an internal wall) with a new one that will pick up digital.  For the first time ever we can now receive Channel 5 without the snow - not that this is any great improvement.

A new plumber came today to give a quote for the work.  The old one was quoting very high and was proving difficult to pin down. Unfortunately, he still has all of the information I collected about the rainwater storage systems, so we need to get this back so that we can educate the new guy.

Finally, the scaffolding has arrived and the first floor walls have started to grow nicely.  It’s all very exciting!  Take a look at the slideshow on the Gallery page for the latest installment.
