It’s been a busy week for both of us at work, but not so busy back at the house.  Some more plasterboard has gone up in the bathroom, and most of the new wiring has gone in, along with boxes for the sockets and switches, etc.  No further progress on the roof, which is now holding everything else up.  He is supposed to be turning up at some point today but so far (10.50 am) there is no sign.

After a major downpour on Wednesday, we discovered a large damp patch in the middle of the new bedroom floor.  It looks like some rain got in under the plastic covering the dorma window, but fortunately it doesn’t seem to have done any damage.
