Hi Folks,
Watching the progress with interest and rather you than me!! Having said that, our back garden doesn’t look any better, as Nick still hasn’t finished what he started! I’m sure it will be worth it when finished.

Hi Guys

Finally managed to get access to the blog…is that the Captain’s Blog by the way? I see you haven’t included a built in bouncy castle in the plans, how very remiss of you. And where is the “Starbucks” lounge? Looking foward to christening it all with a game of Risk. Good luck and I’m buying shares in wellies.

Now have looked at the piccies and read the info can make proper comment. Looks good and am looking forward to the youth fellowship reunion in the new lounge that is rumoured to be happening when it’s complete.  Will remind us of the sleepovers we used to have when James lived there. Happy building.

We had very similiar problems with plumbers and roofers and rumours of them arriving and then not. Our plumber dissapeared for 2 weeks!!

It was only when we sacked him that he turned up 30 minutes later.

Any way we have almost finished - the kitchen gets fitted this weekend.

What was supposed to take 8/10 weeks has so far took 16 / 17!!!!

If you want a break - any time - and we have already got the cooker working

I am going to go for this after Matts last posting

Of course with all this work going on around the house, this weekend at church, they will be offering up a “sabbath prayer”.

While the carpenter has been around doing his jobs you could say there has been a “match maker” on site.

I would be having a guess that at this point in time Liz is probably saying this is “far from the home I love”.

When the work is nearly done - people will be saying “any day now”

But when the job is completely done - every one will be saying it is a “miracle of miracles”

Don’t blame me Matt started it!!!!

I’m glad I won and I didn’t have to “Topol” anyone off top spot…….

We had the same problem - our plumber vanished for more than 2 weeks. It was only when we “sacked him” that he turned up!!

Well you could always “tap” up another person to do the job or would that be “plumbing” to a new depth!

Of course when he turns up you could always play the “pipes of peace” (ref Paul McCartney) or would that be “sinking” to a new level.

Still in your situation it would be best to “solder” on and in the end you will be “showered” with blessings

Why does not someone else write on here????

Recognition at last!!!

I did not want to be alone on here - I thought I might “waste” away down the “drain”
