Liz & Matt’s Home Extension Blog

When I got home from work at lunch time I found two builders demolishing the retaining wall down the side of the garage.  They promptly disappeared for lunch but reappeared to finish removing the crumbling wall up to and including the steps onto the lawn.  

By the end of the afternoon they had moved into the conservatory and removed the skirting boards, doors & door frames.  The electrician has also started by removing the wiring & lights.  He will return tomorrow to finish the sockets.

The result is a bit of a mess!  There is plaster dust all over the conservatory and random floor boards have been pulled up to inspect what is underneath.  But what the heck…….it is all being knocked down & I don’t have to clear up.
