Liz & Matt’s Home Extension Blog

Today the builders arrived at 8.00am on the dot.  They started to knock some more of the garage down with hammers and were loading their truck. In half an hour they had filled it and Bob went off with the rubble and had not returned by the time we left for school.

When we got back from school Bob was sitting under a little bit of garage roof they had left waiting for the others to come back.  When they did they started to break up the concrete floor of the conservatory with a pneumatic drill and loaded the truck with the stuff.  They got through about a third of it in an hour.  They looked as though it was great fun and we wanted to join in but weren’t allowed.

Just got home from 3 days working away to find no garage and no conservatory.  Eeek!



Received post from several companies who supply rainwater harvesting and ‘grey water’ recycling systems.  These are the first of the special enhancements I mentioned earlier.  I’ll put some details in the information section soon.  We also have lots of photos and I’ll try to get these up as soon as I can.
