Here we were thinking how great the weather has been for us so far, with hardly any days lost due to rain.  Today, it was so warm that the tools became too hot to handle and the cement was setting before they could use it.

Despite this, the final wall at the back is growing steadily and looks like it might be finished this week.  A new wooden template has appeared against the rear gable and the edging bricks are already finished on the lower part.

Since it doesn’t look like it will cool off tomorrow, the builders are arriving at 7 tomorrow morning in the hope of getting some work done before it gets too hot.
