THE PLUMBER CAME TODAY!

What’s more, all of the radiators now work, due to a ‘temporary’ connection to the old heating system until he can get around to installing the new boiler.

The new cooker and dishwasher should be arriving tomorrow, and he has promised to come back on Friday to plumb in the cooker, which involves installing a ‘temporary’ gas supply until he can get around to installing the proper one.

That will make the full set, since we are still operating on the ‘temporary’ mains water supply that he put in about a month ago.

I suppose we should be grateful for small mercies.
