Liz & Matt’s Home Extension Blog

Now that the house is weatherproof, lots of new things have started happening.  

Our new bedroom now has a floor (so that the only way into the upstairs part of the extension is through the old bathroom window) and half of the insulation in the sloping ceiling is up.  All of the plumbing for the new bathroom is in place and we are supposed to be meeting with the plumber again tomorrow morning to make some decisions/beat his price down (depending on your point of view).

The first breakthrough into the existing house should also be happening tomorrow.  This just involves removing the old dorma window at the top of the stairs so hopefully there shouldn’t be too much mess yet.
